Here it is, my first film score! Jackals & Fireflies, directed by the one-and-only Charlie Kaufman, and written by the one-and-only Eva H.D.
These 2 singles are from Kintsugi, the multi-media installation piece I created with Annie Sumi. It’s an anti-racist song-cycle with accompanying shadow puppet animations housed in an antique sewing machine fit with sensors, speakers and a projector, focused on the Japanese internment story and its inter-generational impacts. Kintsugi is currently on display at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre in Burnaby, BC until September 27, 2025. More music coming soon too. For more info visit www.kintsugi-installation.com
